Admission and Training Regulations of the SB RAMS Institute of Physiology Postgraduate Program
Postgraduate training is offered in the following fields:
03.00.04 – Biochemistry
03.00.13 – Physiology
03.00.25 – Histology, cytology and cell biology
03.00.30 – Development biology, embryology
14.00.16 – Pathological physiology
14.00.02 – Human anatomy
19.00.02 – Psychophysiology
19.00.04 – Medical psychology
Biological and medical graduates are welcome to compete for admission at the Institute of Physiology state-sponsored PG course.
Postgraduate study is a 3-year full-time or 4-year external degree course. Studies for tuition fees are possible.
Postgraduate course annual admission is scheduled by the Institute of Physiology.
The applicants undergo an interview with a would-be scientific supervisor. Entrance examination permits are handed out by the entrance examination board with regard to applicant’s interview results. Entrance exam permit notifications would reach the chosen within a week later.
According to Russian Educational Standards applicants take exams in:
- Major subject
- Philosophy
- Foreign language
Postgraduate Admission Documents
- Application form addressed to Valeriy Trufakin – director of the Institute of Physiology (click to download)
- Duly certified sheet of personal details and a photo (with applicant’s complete enquiries)
- CV (in handwriting, including parents details)
- Copy of credential (for foreign graduates – copies of credential and certificate of compliance)
- A list of scientific papers certified at place of work or study. If none then a research paper in applicant’s major subject is required (20 printed pages with references)
- Passport, credential, military card are presented by applicants in their personal presence.
